Medical Records All pups have dewclaws removed within 48 hours after birth. All pups are given the first shot and first wormer at 6 weeks old. (Read below on what the shot all contains.) The shot we use is VanGuard 5/L and the dewormer we use is Nemex. All the pups get the second shot at 8 weeks-and wormed again at 9 weeks of age. We are able to help you with this if you are taking the pup at 7 weeks old. The shot at 6 weeks of age contain the following vaccines: Canine Distemper Adenovirus Type 2 Parainfluenza Parvovirus Vaccine Leptospira Canicola    Icterohaemorrhagiae Bacterin  Mixed with: Canine Coronavirus Vaccine I encourage you to please take your new baby to a veterinarian to have a check up. I will give you a paper that says everything we have done here. You can take that paper with you so they know what to continue with to ensure your new addition stays healthy and happy! We also want to stress how important it is for owners to use a flea and tick repellent. Deer ticks are around and there have been cases of lyme disease which can be very painful if not deadly on your pup. We suggest a repellent such as Frontline, Advantage or Advantix.
