The dog's ear can hear sound waves at frequencies of MORE than 35,000 vibrations a second. (The human ear can detect sound waves at frequencies up to 20,000 times a second.) A cat's is 25,000.

They hear high pitched sounds like some insects make that we can not even detect.
A dogs' heart beats between 70 to 120 times per minute, a human heart beats 70 to 80 times per minute.
A female dog's gestation period is approx. 63 days, equal to 9 weeks.
